Reflection #4

Gap Years

Gap years are very underestimated by people and this it’s a waste of time but what they don’t realize is that they have great significance and useful benefits. Some of the benefits are that you can take some time off to travel to other places and thus, gaining amazing knowledge and skills from other countries. The other benefit is to travel to other countries and experience different aspects of their citizen. The citizens of UAE do not consider taking a gap year because they think it’s a waste of time but actually it can be useful to them because they have difficult schools with strong education so they won’t have time to rest. Taking a gap year after finishing high school can be very useful for they can travel to other countries to learn about different cultures or start working for a year to experience and have knowledge of working and its hardships but rewards. I would like to have a gap year so I could travel to Japan. There, I would love to see the technology and futuristic machines and also, I heard that the sushi is fantastic there. Also, the UAE has some great connections with the friendly country of Cambodia like trading natural resources and exchanging culture from one another. For example, Cambodia sends the UAE some rare vegetables and in exchange, they receive oil. Also, they can send them their knowledge of nature and commerce and in exchange, the UAE sends some teachers and educators to educate their children and advance their knowledge of the world.

I was like you shouldn’t go in the lain just whenever you want cause its rude and she replied to me I am a local women I have the rights to be first I told her I’m a local man also you don’t see me saying anything like that and the people at the lain took a bad thinking about the local women she kept on saying im from Dubai I have the rights here, she knew I was from Abu Dhabi cause of the accent. She still wanted to be first and kept nagging I’m a local women that made us people feel like she’s the queen or something I gave her my place since I was close to the counter but the way she said I’m a local women it’s not the right way of saying it to people its rude to say that and it affects the whole country not only the women cause people would think every local person is the same and acts the same rude.
