Personal Reflection #2 – Integrating Special needs Individuals into society

Based on our 2053 class discussions and my research into the future
center and paralympics i can reflect on how people can be better integrated into society in these ways.

The future center helps people who are mental challenged to gain there goals to win in the paralympics they used to have a villa where they train them but now since they grown and the people started to grow they got a center where they could let more people join and the be good in there sport hobbies running, basketball, tennis , table tennis, swimming...etc.

The staff and students have faced few challenges where they handled now, the staff faced some difficulties in providing the proper facilities for the students so there offerings were limited, and the students had a difficulty to communicating with eachother cause of there different disabilities and different cultures.

They achieved so many things including preparing the disabled children with the proper skills they need in order to joing the regular school, the children who stay in the center (due to their level of disability) participate in many activities like joining the Olympics for the special needs.

There goals are to extend the center and opportunity’s to have a better life with giving them the necessary skills to enable them to reach their potential, the future center is working on becoming a leading institution with standards and best practices.

The center has a multinational team od specialists and students, as the website stated regarding the students “50% comes from the UAE and other half from about twenty nationalities, with degreees of severity between mild to moderate”which means that this center is a culturally diverse environment.
